How to Add a Profile Picture to Your YouTube Profile

  1. Take some pictures. Take some pictures of yourself and then upload them onto your computer. Alternatively, find some pictures you like on the internet and save them to your documents.
  2. Go to YouTube and login to your channel. Obviously, you can't change your profile picture if you are not logged in. Once signed in, you will be redirected to the YouTube homepage.
  3. Look at the top right corner of the page. You should see your YouTube username beside the "Sign Out" button. Click on your YouTube username.
  4. Look for the grey box. One you've clicked your YouTube username, a grey box should appear just below your username giving you multiple options of where to go next. Click on the "Account" button.
  5. Make sure you're at your "Account Settings" page. After you've clicked on your "Account" button, you should be redirected to your "Account Settings" page. Now, see that grey camera man or a clock right below the "Overview" panel in the middle of the screen? Below the picture you will see a link that says "Change". Click on it.
  6. Change your picture. After clicking "Change", you will be redirected to a screen that lets you change your profile. Click on the box that says "Change Picture". A box will come up that will allow you to do so. Make sure that the "Upload an Image" button is checked, and then click the "Browse" button. This will take you to your documents. Find the picture you'd like and double-click it.
  7. Save it. After you've double-clicked the desired image, simply press "Save Changes". You now have a new profile picture!
